Donors give blood Donors give blood at Anschutz Medical Campus

Each year thousands give blood to save the lives of others in our communities. Donating blood typically takes about an hour, and drives are held throughout the greater community.

The Facilities Department team organizes blood drives on the Anschutz Medical Campus at various times to support the need for blood donations. The blood drives are coordinated with a team from the Bonfils Blood Center.

Today several dozen people rolled up their sleeves to donate blood. It was held in the Campus Services building. Time slots available for donating during today’s drive were all filled.

If you missed today’s drive, you can check online for a location and time to fit your schedule.

The next dates in 2012 that are scheduled for blood drives at the Anschutz Medical Campus are:

Thursday, May 17, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Monday, Aug. 13, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
