​DENVER – President Barack Obama is planning to stop at the University of Colorado Denver this coming Wednesday, Oct. 26 as part of his American Jobs Act tour. His remarks are intended to connect specifically with students.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to obtain two tickets to attend his speech at the Events Center on the Auraria Campus. A limited number of tickets will be available for pick up on Tuesday, Oct. 25 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Starz Film Center located at the Tivoli Student Center. Students, faculty and staff at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus will need to go to the Starz Film Center to get tickets.

Official university IDs must be shown in order to get your tickets which will be limited to two per person. While the University of Colorado Denver is hosting the visit, tickets also are available for students, faculty and staff at Metropolitan State College of Denver and Community College of Denver. College-issued IDs must be shown to obtain the tickets.

On Wednesday, the day of President Obama’s visit, doors at the Event Center open at 8 a.m. for those who received tickets.
